Great wine starts in the vineyard.

This philosophy is paramount in producing high quality, intensely concentrated, well-balanced wine grapes to make into premium wines. Ryanna Vineyard varieties are pinot noir, gewurztraminer and chardonnay.

The site chosen to plant the 4,000 vines in 2005, is a gentle north-south slope, enabling maximum length of sunlight hours in the growing season, with good drainage.

The sites regional terroir with its black-cracking, clay-rich organic soils and cool nights are ideal conditions to produce our naturally-flavoured cool-climate wines.

The hands-on, labour intensive, non-chemical approach not only give better tasting, longer aging wines, they also have important antioxidants believed to entail health benefits such as reducing heart disease and longer life spans.

The lovingly cared-for vines produce aromatic full-bodied and elegant wines, which we're sure you will enjoy (in moderation of course).
